Liouvillian forms

This is a project at the origins of Pléctika. The main point is to study and develop ideas about the construction of symplectic integrators using Liouvillian forms.

Symplectic integrators

There are a lot of geometrical relationships between Liouville vectors fields and symplectic maps, that it is a good direction for investigating their behavior. Here we put some posts about those relationships in an informal way. All the results are both, well known facts in symplectic and contact geometry, or have been proved in recent arXiv preprints. For those interested in the fundamental proofs it is possible to have access to the preprints or to contact the author.
